On June 26, 2022, members and some perspective members of the Lone Star Texas E-Club met at the Lake Conroe Country Club to hold a celebration party in honer of the Lone Star Rotary E-Club having received its charter on April 21, 2022. Pictured above from left to right are members Birda Gaskin, Alana Inman, Amber Hadley, Ellen Pate, Charles Meyer, Charda Bronaugh,Tom Grayson, Linda Grayson and Demetress Harrell.
The outgoing club president, Ellen Pate, spoke about the great achievement for the club to have received its official charter from Rotary International.
The incoming president, Charles Meyer, also spoke about the efforts of all the club officers and members that helped to get the club's charter granted. Charles also spoke about his upcoming year as President of LSRE and some of his general goals for the club.
Also attending the celebration was Doris Lockey (lake Conroe Rotary) and Demetress Harrell (2022-2023 District Governor). Doris also spoke about the club's success in getting chartered and how she expected great things from our new club. Demetree Harrell also spoke about the club's success in getting chartered but also spoke to her upcoming year as District Governor.
Ellen Pate than handed out charter member pins to all the members where members at the time when the charter was granted by Rotary International.
