Annual District Governor Virtual Visit - UNITE FOR GOOD
Jul 17, 2025 6:00 PM
Dr. Charles (Charley) Gilliland brings a wealth of experience to his Rotary leadership. A native of Colorado, Charley grew up on a cattle ranch before earning his M.S. and Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. He currently serves as a Research Economist and Adjunct Professor of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M, with previous roles as Clinical Professor of Finance in the Mays School of Business. Charley is a decorated thought leader—recipient of the Golden Quill Award and inductee into the Farm Credit Bank of Texas Academy of Honor. His Rotary résumé includes past service as Club President of the Bryan Rotary Club, Assistant Governor, Youth Exchange Committee member, and Paul Harris Society member. But beyond the accolades, Charley is a storyteller, a servant leader, and someone who believes Rotary is at its best when we lead with both head and heart. |
